BIOGRAPHY

CJ Taylor ha esposto in Australia, Europa, Cina e Hong Kong. Il suo lavoro è stato in mostra alla National Portrait Gallery in occasione dell’Australin Photographic Portrait Prize, alla Eighth Biennial CCP per il Documentary Photography Award, per il William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize, il Josephine Ulrick & Win Schubert Photography Award, per FurtureGen a FotoFreo, per Hatched al PICA, e al Pingyao International Photography Festival, Cina e Art Central, Hong Kong. CJ è stato ‘stills photographer’ per il progetto 12 Canoes dal 2007 al 2008. Nel 2014 ha vinto l’art prize di Adelaide Park Lands. E’ attualmente Lecturer in fotografia e nuovi media al South Australian School of Art, Architecture e Design. Sta completando un dottorato all’Australian National University a Canberra. Il suo lavoro è parte dell’archivio audio-video nazionale di Canberra e del Royal Perth Hospital.

In 2014 he won the inaugural Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize.He is currently a lecturer in photography and new media at the South Australian School of Art, Architecture and Design and a PhD Candidate at the Australian National University, Canberra. CJ Taylor is represented by THIS IS NO FANTASY Melbourne. His work is held in the collection of the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra and Royal Perth Hospital Collection in WA.
